Hubbie-centric weekend

This weekend we headed over to hubbie's hometown for his high school reunion. In addition to sitting at the neglected spouse's table at the bar on Friday, the picnic on Saturday, the dinner on Saturday evening, and the bar again on Saturday night, we also had a family reunion. I'm very lucky that I actually like hubbie's family, so that was probably the better part of the weekend (although all of the high school stories were fascinating, hubbie, I swear!).

One of the lucky recipients of my handknit dishrags was my mother-in-law. I only managed to knit two when I had hoped to make three for her (maybe she'll get one as a surprise at a later date).

This is probably the reason I only knit two:

This is my iPod's new friend (they look very similar when it's closed). I won a Nintendo DS at my company picnic last week, and I've been playing the Sims 2 ever since (it's recharging right now so I have time to blog). Hopefully I can break its spell over me so that I can finish the dishcloths for the next lucky lady!

I think I'm offended that your favorite part of the weekend wasn't spending time with your partner in crime at the various neglected spouses tables. Just saying.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! for the dishrays and for all the help you gave getting the family reunion together. At least all that "fun" was packed into one weekend and not spread over the whole summer. I owe you big time for the losey Anniversay gift or non gift.
