Starting Over

During my vacation, I got to indulge in one of my guilty pleasures: Starting Over. I love to find inspiration for myself from this stupid show. And I start over all the time, but without the expensive life coach. It's great! You may have noticed my very recent re-start where I am crafting/knitting/blogging/exercising more often. I'm sure you're impressed. I just finished the Green Gable in record time (for a shirt for myself), and I'm already on to new and exciting things!

I've begun the long anticipated felted laptop case from AlterKnits (thanks again Secret Pal!). I bought the yarn before leaving California and finally got around to using it. I decided to buy a third color (red), so I walked to the yarn store today during lunch to purchase it. I browsed in the sale bins, and couldn't resist this:

I think it will make a great Picovoli! I've even joined the knit along. I'm very excited. I started a swatch, and I think it will knit up beautifully!

I also went to my knitting group tonight (although I've only been a few times, and am not sure at what point it becomes "mine"). It was close to my house and I biked in the slight mist. While I was there, I actually started the laptop case. It looks blurry, but so much better with three colors (instead of just the orange and pink)!

I love your excellent start overs. I love them even more the second time they start over. I think you are adorable and I am very proud of you.
