Straw into Gold

Well, not exactly. More like wool roving into a very bumpy very imperfect very overspun skein of yarn. But at least I tried! This was my first attempt at spinning, and, as my teacher graciously said, I'm not so bad. I understood the concept and didn't totally suck (although I don't totally suck at much!). I loved it and wish I could afford a wheel (and have a place to put one).... maybe someday after the "big move". In the meantime, I've decided to finally buy a drop spindle and start from there. I will also be attempting to dye this yarn (and some other white yarn) soon with kool-aid (something else I've never tried).
