Two Projects Equal Spoiled Babies

I finally finished some baby projects I started a long time ago. I have a question for each, and would love any opinions!

The first is a cardigan, but I need to get buttons (4). Any suggestions as to what would be adorable? It's a boy sweater for 12 to 18 months.

The next is this owl (I've been keeping this secret for a while... he's so cute!). The pattern calls for a scarf, but since it's April, is a scarf a little too much? Is it perfect the way it is, or does it need more? There's also a tail that is hard to see in the photo.

Also, since I keep cutting off my head in my photos (I've been having a hard time learning how to do my hair!), I have a photo from yesterday where I took time to look pretty (and wore the wrap dress out in public for the first time). Now I need to knit a cardigan for spring weather so I can wear this dress more often without freezing (like I did yesterday).

Love the owl! No scarf necessary, I think. :)

Buttons - as a mom of an 18 month old - the easier to put through the buttonholes (no cutesy airplane/car buttons - not my smartest mommy moment) and the more indestructible the better. Not much fun, huh? The sweater is PERFECT though - mom will love it.
